This is a place where you will meet women who regularly exercise to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle. We want to showcase what real women look like without any tricky lighting or photo retouching. There are no rules, no boundaries, no standards, and nothing to hide. Be inspired, as ‘healthy’ and ‘fit’ are not cast from a mould.

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I run a small business, I have a five-year-old girl, and a partner.
Favourite thing to do on the weekend?
Often I work, but I love a trip to the beach when I get the chance.
How many times a week do you work out?
Usually twice – Pilates once a week and a bootcamp in the park every Thursday, which is hard! I wear my fitbit and just try to do as many steps as I can all other times.
We know finding the time and energy to work out regularly can be tough. What keeps you motivated?
As part of my job I deal with people all day and I have a lot of clients who take care of their health and bodies. Just observing these clients has shown me the importance of exercise and self-care – they’re clearly happy and feel good about themselves. For me, it’s not about being skinny – it’s about staying fit and strong, especially as you age. I’ve realised that if you exercise and look after yourself, you feel better in every way. Staying fit actually helps me when I work, as it’s quite a physical job and I stand all day, I need to keep my energy levels up to stay on top of my game.
What do you love the most about your svvet workout wear?
I love that ‘sucked in’ feeling – the compression. They’re not so tight that you feel like you’re wearing Nancy Ganz, they just make you feel supported. The fabric feels really smooth on your skin, and I love that they’re high-waisted!
What’s your favourite way to treat yourself after your workout?
This one’s tough. I don’t really treat myself after I exercise. It’s about feeling good in your own skin, and for me that’s reward enough. Having said that I do like to cook and eat so I guess I can do that without feeling the need to closely watch what I eat.
